CALS is a professional organization dedicated to enhancing the development and professionalism of surveyors throughout Connecticut. We accomplish this through workshops, informational meetings, lobbying for special interests and legislative issues and networking with allied professionals, such as engineers, architects, and attorneys.
![]() The Kansas Society of Land Surveyorsis an organization dedicated to the promotion of the common good and welfare of members engaged in the practice of Land Surveying, to foster high standards of professional ethics and practice, to promote the study of Land Surveying problems and the education of Land Surveyors, thus encouraging public faith in the reliance of Land Surveyors and their work.
MALSCE is a professional association that was organized on July 24, 1954 and was incorporated as a non-profit corporation on June 11, 1960. For more than 50 years, MALSCE has been working diligently to enhance the overall status of the land surveying and civil engineering professions. The purpose of the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors is to represent the interests of and be a primary spokesman for the surveying profession in Missouri; to elevate the standards of the surveying profession in Missouri, thereby benefitting the general public; to insure that the general public and offices of records receive superior land surveying that bring about an upgrading of land records; to sponsor legislation and educational programs beneficial to the public and land surveyors; and to improve the professional recognition of the surveying profession by the public and by other related professions.
The New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors is a statewide professional group comprised of professional land surveyors, technicians and allied professionals. The Society members demonstrate their commitment to their profession through their high standards, public action and educational forums.
Ohio Society of Professional Surveyors was incorporated in 1972 and today remains one of the largest and most active statewide land surveying associations in the country. OSPS's more than 1,000 members include professional surveyors, surveyor technicians, interns, and others who work in the industry; students; and companies engaged in supplying services and equipment to the surveying profession.
The Tennessee Association of Professional Surveyors (TAPS) is dedicated to preserve and promote the education and advancement of the profession.
The Virginia Association of Surveyors, Inc., is a nonprofit association organized under section 501(c)(6) of the IRS Code to promote the practice of surveying; to maintain the honor and dignity of the profession; to uphold and elevate the standards of the profession; to establish a media for the exchange of surveying knowledge and practices; to stimulate a greater interest among surveyors in public problems affecting the profession to the community; and to cultivate social networking and cooperation among surveyors.
