2024 Sustaining Member State Societies
CALS is a professional organization dedicated to enhancing the development and professionalism of surveyors throughout Connecticut. We accomplish this through workshops, informational meetings, lobbying for special interests and legislative issues and networking with allied professionals, such as engineers, architects, and attorneys.
IPLSA is a not for profit organization representing the interested of the surveying profession in Illinois. Our mission includes the advancement of the Land Surveying Profession by promoting high standards of practice and conduct, by upholding the Illinois Land Surveyors Act and by supporting and encouraging members through continuing education, professional association, and the use of current technology.
The Kansas Society of Land Surveyors is an organization dedicated to the promotion of the common good and welfare of members engaged in the practice of Land Surveying, to foster high standards of professional ethics and practice, to promote the study of Land Surveying problems and the education of Land Surveyors, thus encouraging public faith in the reliance of Land Surveyors and their work.
The Maryland Society of Surveyors is a professional organization with the mission of advancing the science of Surveying and Mapping in the furtherance of the public welfare and in the interests of both those who use maps and surveys and those who make them.
The Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE) is a professional association that was organized on July 24, 1954, and was incorporated as a non-profit corporation on June 11, 1960. For more than 50 years, MALSCE has been working diligently to enhance the overall status of the land surveying and civil engineering professions.
The purpose of the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors is to represent the interests of and be a primary spokesman for the surveying profession in Missouri; to elevate the standards of the surveying profession in Missouri, thereby benefitting the general public; to insure that the general public and offices of records receive superior land surveying that bring about an upgrading of land records; to sponsor legislation and educational programs beneficial to the public and land surveyors; and to improve the professional recognition of the surveying profession by the public and by other related professions.
The New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors is a statewide professional group comprised of professional land surveyors, technicians and allied professionals. The Society members demonstrate their commitment to their profession through their high standards, public action and educational forums.
The Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio was incorporated in 1972 and today remains one of the largest and most active statewide land surveying associations in the country. PLSO's more than 1,000 members include professional surveyors, surveyor technicians, interns, and others who work in the industry; students; and companies engaged in supplying services and equipment to the surveying profession.
The Tennessee Association of Professional Surveyors (TAPS) is dedicated to preserve and promote the education and advancement of the profession.
Formally incorporated in 1949, the Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia, recognizing that service to our Society, to our State, and to our Nation is the fundamental purpose of surveying and mapping, dedicates itself to the promotion and the protection of the profession, and surveying and mapping as a social and an economic influence vital to the affairs of men, women and of the community.
Land Surveyors' Association of Washington (LSAW) is a professional organization representing individuals practicing in the various disciplines of land surveying. LSAW provides educational opportunities and keeps our members informed of changes in laws, regulations, and rapidly changing technology. LSAW actively supports outreach efforts and recruitment into the profession. We work together to protect the principles and practices upon which surveying was founded.
